Teruyuki Tanzawa

Teruyuki Tanzawa is a Japanese voice actor affiliated with the agency I'm Enterprise. He was born on February 23 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. He is a graduate of the Japan Narration Acting Institute.

Tanzawa began his career in 2005, with one of his earliest roles being a boy and a member of the guard in the anime series Keroro军曹. In the years following his debut, he built a career by providing voices for a wide array of characters in numerous anime television series, often playing supporting or secondary roles. Some of his early work includes roles in series such as CLANNAD ~AFTER STORY~, Hell Girl: Three Vessels, and Inazuma Eleven.

He has taken on a variety of roles across many popular and long-running franchises. He is known for playing Ryuichi Sanada and other characters in Beelzebub, Hassan in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, and Wolfgang Baumann in The Pilot's Love Song. His other notable anime roles include Kousuke Yamanaka in The Irregular at Magic High School, Leon Ohira in Haikyu!!, and Kazuo Yoshida in Tokyo Ghoul. In the Yo-kai Watch franchise, he voiced Suguru Gōmanda in Yo-kai Gakuen Y: N to no Sōgū. He also portrayed Genzo Kawai in Tayutama: Kiss on my Deity. His film work includes providing the voice for Cyborg 005, Solomon Soria, in the animated film 009 Re:Cyborg.

In addition to anime, Tanzawa has an extensive body of work in video games. He has voiced characters in games such as Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, where he played Skrimir, and the AKIBA'S TRIP series. He is also the voice of the character Afrit, the Lord of Fiery Aberrance, in the game Honkai: Star Rail. His work extends to dubbing foreign-language content into Japanese, including films and television dramas. Outside of acting, his hobbies include playing the bass guitar, using computers, and watching professional wrestling.
