Description
Coffret is a fairy from the HeartCatch Pretty Cure! series who also appears in the crossover film Pretty Cure All-Stars DX3: Mirai ni Todoke! Sekai o Tsunagu Niji-Iro no Hana. His name is derived from the word coffret, which refers to a small decorative box or jewelry case.
In his original series, Coffret is a twin fairy, sharing a close bond with his counterpart, Chypre. Together, they served as guardians of the Great Heart Tree, a mystical entity connected to the heart flowers of all people. When the Tree was attacked by the Desert Apostles, Coffret and Chypre descended to the human world to find new warriors capable of becoming Pretty Cure. Coffret ultimately partnered with Erika Kurumi, who transforms into Cure Marine. Their partnership is characterized by a lively and often squabbling dynamic, as both share similar headstrong and sometimes spoiled personalities. Despite their frequent arguments, they care deeply for one another.
Coffret has a turquoise and white color scheme with a blue ornament and a blue cloak. His ears lie flat to the side of his head, distinguishing him from Chypre. He has a distinctive verbal tic, adding the sound desu to the end of his sentences.
In the Pretty Cure All-Stars DX3 film, Coffret appears alongside many other fairies from across the franchise. In the movie's storyline, the various Pretty Cure fairies are separated from their human partners. Coffret, with Chypre and other senior fairies, encounters a villain named Shadow. Through their combined efforts and unity, the fairies are able to work together to purify this enemy, demonstrating the collaborative spirit of the All-Stars crossover event. His role in this film highlights his loyalty and his place within the larger community of Pretty Cure mascots.
