OVA
Description
Gentoku Ryuubi leads Seito Private School, embodying the soul of Liu Bei from the Three Kingdoms. She exhibits a kind, gentle, and caring nature, consistently prioritizing her friends' safety above her own despite lacking combat ability. Her appearance features long brown hair in dual ponytails, green eyes, and measurements of 96-61-92; she is typically seen in her Seito Academy uniform.
Initially unskilled in both fighting and leadership, she avoided responsibilities and training. A pivotal shift occurred during Kyosho Academy's assault on Seito. Exposed to Ryomou Shimei's Dragon Jade, her dormant dragon power, Rairyuu (Lightning Dragon), awakened. This transformation unleashed a merciless, sadistic alter ego that attacked indiscriminately, forcing Kan'u Unchou to subdue and imprison her.
Motivated by Kan'u's subsequent capture, Ryuubi resolved to embrace her leadership role. She formed an alliance with Nanyo Academy to confront Kyosho, participating directly in battles despite her E-rank status. During the final clash, her dragon form faced Sousou Moutoku's demonized state. Hakufu Sonsaku intervened, and together they combined their dragon elements (water and thunder) to defeat Sousou, marking Ryuubi's first mastery over her dragon abilities.
In *Great Guardians*, her relationship with Kan'u became central. Kan'u's romantic feelings caused tension, leading to Ryuubi's frustration and eventual possession by Saji Genpou via Ryofu Housen. While possessed, she critically injured Kan'u. Kan'u sacrificed herself to awaken Ryuubi's true self through a heartfelt confession of loyalty. This act restored Ryuubi, deepening their bond as she expressed appreciation for Kan'u.
*Xtreme Xecutor* depicted her continued growth into a more responsible leader. She rescued an unconscious Bachou Mouki, bringing her to Seito for recovery, signaling her proactive commitment to protection.
In the OVA *Western Wolves*, she and other Kanto fighters faced Kansai warriors cursed by Himiko at Yamato Gakuin. Cornered alongside Kan'u, she was saved by Chouhi's awakened magatama power during the crisis.
Her pacifist nature and compassion drew followers to her leadership, though her naivety and inexperience in strategy sometimes hindered decisions. She disliked paperwork and could be tactless, yet her unwavering commitment to avoiding ally casualties defined her resolve throughout all appearances.
