Josephine Schmidt is a German actress and voice artist, known for providing the German dubbing voices for numerous characters in anime series and films. She was born on September 29, 1980, in Potsdam, Germany, and began her acting career with appearances in television series and theater productions. Schmidt gained on-screen recognition for her role as Paula Rapf in the long-running German soap opera Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten from 2002 to 2008.

Parallel to her on-screen work, Schmidt has built an extensive career as a voice actress since 2004, lending her voice to a wide array of characters in both Western and Japanese animation.
