Description
"Child of Kamiari Month" centers on Kanna, a young girl who loses her mother and struggles with grief, leading her to abandon her passion for running. One year after her mother's death, Kanna discovers she is a descendant of the gods and is chosen to deliver an offering to the deities during the Kamiari Month, a sacred time when gods gather in Izumo. Accompanied by her talking rabbit companion, Shiro, Kanna embarks on a journey across Japan, encountering various mythical creatures and deities from Japanese folklore. Along the way, she confronts her emotional pain, reconnects with her love for running, and learns to honor her mother's memory. The narrative intertwines themes of loss, resilience, and cultural heritage, blending fantastical elements with emotional depth as Kanna navigates both physical and emotional challenges to fulfill her divine mission.
