Stephen Fu is an American voice actor known for his extensive work in English dubs of anime and video games. Born on November 25, 1985, in the United States, he began his career in the voice acting industry in 2013. His first credited role was in the anime series Space Battleship Yamato 2199. Prior to pursuing voice acting, Fu earned a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular biology and worked in research for five years before deciding to follow his lifelong dream of working in animation. He studied improvisational theater to overcome stage fright and worked with various coaches to break into the industry. Initially based in Texas, he later relocated to California and has become active with major dubbing studios such as Funimation, Bang Zoom! Entertainment, and NYAV Post.

Fu has built a prolific career with a wide range of notable roles across many popular anime series. He is widely recognized for his performance as Weather Report in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and as Doma in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc and Swordsmith Village Arc. He also voices Noé Archiviste in The Case Study of Vanitas, Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of The Shield Hero from season two onward, and Sakuta Azusagawa in Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. His other significant credits include Lao in the Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These series, Shinpei Ajiro in Summer Time Rendering, Takahiro Mizusawa in Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki, Kei Mitsuhashi in Hinomaru Sumo, and Naruzō Machio in How Heavy Are the Dumbbells You Lift?.

Beyond anime, Fu's voice can be heard in numerous video games. He has played prominent roles such as Jamie in Street Fighter 6, Diamant in Fire Emblem Engage, Wise in Zenless Zone Zero, Hwei in League of Legends, and Kuruto Ryuki in AI: The Somnium Files - nirvanA Initiative. He also voiced Oboromaru in the 2022 remake of Live A Live and has provided English dubbing for live-action projects, including the role of Cho Sang-woo in the English dub of the Korean series Squid Game.

A notable aspect of Fu's career is his succession of roles following the passing of fellow voice actor Billy Kametz. He took over the role of Naofumi Iwatani in The Rising of The Shield Hero and Alice Asmodeus in Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun, among others. Fu has also contributed to voice directing, serving as an assistant ADR director or dialect coach on series such as Ikebukuro West Gate Park, Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune, and Kageki Shojo!!. He is a versatile and in-demand performer in the English dubbing industry, frequently collaborating with other voice actors and directors across multiple studios.
