He was born on July 22, 1987, in Fritzlar, Hesse, Germany. Bluhm pursued formal training in his craft, studying at the Fritz Kirchhoff School of Acting in Berlin from 2008 to 2011 and later completing a course for dubbing, radio play, and audiobook narration at the Academy for Professional Speaking in Berlin in 2012. Since beginning his professional career, he has been based in Berlin and Potsdam.
