Chise Niitsu
Description
Chise Niitsu is a Japanese child actor and voice actor, born in Tokyo on May 23, 2010. She began her career in entertainment at the age of two, joining the theatre company 剧团向日葵 (Gekidan Himawari). She is the daughter of anime film director Makoto Shinkai and actor Chieko Misaka. She has appeared extensively in live-action television dramas and films since 2015. Her work as a voice actor includes dubbing roles for foreign films and series. Her early voice acting credits include providing the Japanese voice for characters in the DreamWorks film The Boss Baby and Disney's Frozen II. In 2020, she voiced the lead character, Robyn, in the Japanese-language dub of the film Wolfwalkers. Her portfolio in original Japanese animation includes a role in the 2021 feature film Child of Kamiari Month, where she voiced Kanna during her early childhood. The following year, she was cast as Romy in the 2022 film One Piece Film: Red.
