Description
Maha emerged from a once-prosperous merchant dynasty shattered by her father’s assassination at a partner’s hands. Thrust into Murteu’s streets after losing everything, she bartered her sharp commercial instincts to survive, organizing tourist guides with fellow orphans until corrupt nobles manipulated welfare laws to incarcerate her in a brutal orphanage for two years. Her liberation came through Lugh Tuatha Dé, who recruited her during his hunt for skilled operatives. Adopted into the Balor merchant clan as “Maha Balor,” she posed as the younger sister of Lugh’s alias, Illig Balor, anchoring her new life in subterfuge.

Her mercantile talents soon steered her to helm the Balor Trading Company’s Orna brand, a cosmetics empire masking intelligence operations. Though trained in assassination, she specialized in logistics, intelligence extraction, and interrogation, assuming greater autonomy when Lugh departed to reclaim his family’s domain. Tasked with managing Murteu’s covert missions and corporate ventures alone, she wielded dual roles with calculated precision.

Gratitude and Lugh’s subtle mental enchantments fused into unyielding loyalty, compounded by romantic yearning she cautiously nurtured despite his aloofness. Publicly, she exuded icy competence; privately, glimpses of vulnerability surfaced, particularly in Lugh’s presence. Her past bore scars—literal and emotional—from orphanage abuse, including a self-inflicted sickle wound meant to mar her appearance, later erased by Lugh’s magic. Through resilience, she transformed from a casualty of exploitation to a pivotal strategist, threading legality and espionage to cement her indispensability in Lugh’s shadow empire.
