Description
Kan'u Unchou bears the spirit and title of Guan Yu, revered as the "Goddess of War," representing Seito Academy. Feared throughout the Kanto region as the "God of Martial Arts," she is a highly skilled combatant.

She possesses a tall, athletic build with distinctive tan skin, light blue-grey eyes, and extremely long dark purple hair reaching her feet, often tied at the ends. Her revealing Seito Academy uniform consists of a white sailor-style blouse with blue stripes, a yellow ribbon, a blue skirt, loose white socks, and brown shoes. She stands 1.72 meters tall with measurements of 94-60-91.

Her personality centers on unwavering loyalty, placing supreme value on Seito's leader, Gentoku Ryuubi's safety, even submitting to capture to shield her. She displays leniency towards Gentoku's whims, provided she or her ally Ekitoku Chouhi is present. Intensely proud of her combat reputation, she relentlessly trains to uphold her inherited legacy, driven by a need to prove her worthiness.

Her combat abilities are legendary, overwhelming opponents through sheer technical mastery and physical resilience. She notably defeated Hakufu Sonsaku, a fellow inheritor, while severely injured, and later triumphed over Hakufu's demonic state using only one arm after sustaining a fracture from her battle with Ryomou Shimei. Her fighting style emphasizes decisive strikes and endurance, dominating tournaments and battlefields.

Her narrative spans key conflicts. In the Great Fighters Tournament, she incapacitated four adversaries before battling Ryomou Shimei. Despite breaking her arm, she defeated both Ryomou and Hakufu, withdrawing later citing Seito's disinterest in the tournament's objectives. Confronting threats from Kyosho Academy targeting Gentoku, she engaged their elite fighters, overpowering Koumei Jokou through sheer determination. However, she surrendered when Kyosho threatened Gentoku's safety, leading to imprisonment and mental interrogation by Moutoku Sousou.

Her development reveals deepening self-awareness. Initially dismissive of needing external aid to protect Gentoku, a defeat by Genchoku Jousho challenged her arrogance. This newfound humility led her to test Koumei Shokatsuryou's capabilities, ultimately acknowledging Koumei's worthiness to safeguard Gentoku. During the Battle of Red Cliffs, she allied with Nanyo Academy, defeating Kyosho commanders Bunken Gakushin and Chuutatsu Shibai to secure victory for the coalition.

Her relationship with Gentoku evolves from steadfast guardianship to accepting shared responsibility. She temporarily distanced herself from Seito to foster Gentoku's growth as a leader, yet remained prepared to defend the academy, as seen when she dissuaded Koukin Shuyu from seeking vengeance. This progression marks her transition from a solitary protector to a strategic supporter of collective leadership.
