Optimus Prime journeys to Planet Elementros searching for his lost comrade, Megatron. He encounters Lightlong, a giraffe-like Energy Beast wielding Lightning Elemental Energy. Their meeting is interrupted by Megatron and Captain Volca, revealing Megatron's betrayal and alliance with the Dinosaur Tribe for conquest. Optimus intercepts their assault with his axe but is overpowered and kicked down by Megatron. Inspired by Optimus Prime's courage, Lightlong proposes a "Wildocking" combination. Optimus agrees, merging with Lightlong to become Lightning Optimus. This new form wields enhanced abilities, using Lightlong Slash against Megatron and Captain Volca, deflecting attacks like Jurassic Vol Flare, and delivering a powerful punch that sends Megatron flying. Megatron counters by merging with another Energy Beast, Leafback, and nearly defeats Lightning Optimus using Jurassic Leaf Flare. Optimus and Lightlong survive and seek refuge in a cave, encountering Hydrophant, a shy elephant Energy Beast possessing Aqua Energy. Learning of Megatron's alliance, Hydrophant flees in fear. When Spirituan attacks Hydrophant, Optimus intervenes, urging Hydrophant to stand and fight. Later, as Ignite Leo (allied with the Dinosaur Tribe) attacks Optimus, Hydrophant defends them with a water stream. Optimus then Wildocks with Hydrophant, forming Lightning Aqua Optimus, and defeats Ignite Leo and Spirituan using Hydro Thunder Splash. After this battle, Spirituan mentions the Element Shield before being captured and merged with Megatron. Optimus Prime continues his opposition to Megatron's conquest, forming alliances and Wildocking combinations with various Energy Beasts representing elemental energies like lightning and water. These combinations grant him new forms and enhanced abilities for the conflict against the Dinosaur Tribe. The discovery of the Element Shield and Spirituan's capture by Megatron mark significant developments in the ongoing struggle.
