Description
Artemis originates from an amorphous planetary entity, an unidentified life form serving as both her biological mother and collective habitat housing her sisters. This gelatinous planet represents her initial existence.

Consciously separating from her maternal planet, Artemis rejects her gelatinous form, acquiring a mechanical human body with defined features and blue hair. This transformation signifies her desire for autonomy and a different destiny.

Her new mechanical existence brings positive experiences, including a romantic relationship with another machine-bodied man. However, governing authorities charge Artemis for pleasures experienced in this body, resulting in unmanageable debt. Without financial resources, she faces compulsory labor in a factory as repayment, enslaved by the state.

Artemis escapes using an unguarded spaceship. Her flight concludes with a crash landing onto the surface of her gelatinous planetary mother. This return coincides with the Galaxy Express 999 train becoming stranded on the same planetary body after an unavoidable collision.

Mortally wounded from the crash, Artemis encounters Tetsuro Hoshino during her final moments. Her journey concludes by reintegrating with her planetary mother, accepting this reunion as her ultimate fate after the hardships endured in mechanical form. Her story embodies maternal bonds, the consequences of pursuing change without adequate preparation, and the cyclical nature of returning to origins.
