Description
In the anime film "Sangokushi [1]: Eiyū-tachi no Yoake" (also known as "Great Conquest: The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" or "Dawn of the Heroes"), Zhuge Liang features as a central character. His portrayal reflects core historical and literary traits. Introduced as a reclusive scholar in seclusion, his exceptional intellect and wisdom earn him the moniker "Sleeping Dragon." Protagonist Liu Bei seeks Zhuge Liang's aid to unify China amidst turmoil, undertaking three visits to his residence in the historical "Three Visits" recruitment.

After joining Liu Bei's forces as chief strategist, Zhuge Liang engineers an alliance with the Kingdom of Wu to repel Cao Cao's advance. His strategic genius peaks during the Battle of Chibi (Red Cliffs), where he devises the fire attack that annihilates Cao Cao's numerically superior navy.

Visually, he wears traditional scholar attire and carries a feather fan—symbolizing his intellectual calm. His physical stature is tall and imposing, aligning with descriptions of a "magnificent appearance." The film chronicles his early contributions to Liu Bei's cause, concluding with the victory at Chibi. His later campaigns and death at Wuzhang Plains unfold in the trilogy's subsequent installments.
