Description
Akihiro is a high school student preoccupied with typical teenage romantic and sexual fantasies. He actively pursues his classmate Miyuki, whom he deems the school's most attractive girl, and plans to seduce her during a planned date at his home. His opportunistic nature surfaces when he spots an ornate carpet discarded as trash and imagines using it to facilitate romantic encounters with Miyuki.
After taking the carpet home, Akihiro encounters Malon, a girl who emerges claiming to be a guardian knight from Phantasia. She immediately professes love for him, derailing his plans with Miyuki. Akihiro reacts with panic and frustration, especially when Malon uses magic to manipulate situations, such as convincing his mother she is his cousin. Despite finding Malon attractive, he becomes enraged by her magical interference and impulsively banishes her, forbidding further use of her powers.
This expulsion carries severe consequences. By revoking Malon's permission to use magic, Akihiro leaves her defenseless against Roll, a vengeful wizard targeting Phantasia. Akihiro initially dismisses Roll as another annoyance until confronted by Malon's allies, Short and Monbran. They reveal Malon's half-human heritage and explain that his rejection directly endangered her. This confrontation forces a shift in Akihiro's perspective, moving him from self-interest to genuine concern for Malon's safety.
Akihiro joins Short and Monbran to locate Malon. Finding her, he explicitly reverses his earlier prohibition, granting permission for her to use magic defensively. This decision enables Malon to defeat Roll. After the conflict, Akihiro accepts Malon's continued presence. She uses magic to enroll in his school, resulting in an ongoing romantic triangle involving Akihiro, Malon, and Miyuki.
