Shinnosuke Furumoto is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and radio personality born on December 13, 1969, in Tokyo. He began his entertainment career as a child actor, appearing in television dramas and films before establishing himself as a prominent voice actor during the 1990s. He was formerly credited under the stage name Shinnosuke Furumoto using different kanji, before changing to his current stage name in 2006.

Furumoto has portrayed a wide array of leading and supporting characters in anime, with many of his most notable roles concentrated in the 1990s. He is recognized for voicing the protagonist Hiro Kunimi in the baseball anime H2. He also took on the unique role of the speaking dog Junkers in the film Junkers Come Here and its related OVA Junkers Come Here: Memories of You. In the fantasy series Sorcerer Hunters, he voiced the character Carrot Glasse, and he was the voice of Putarou in Kuma no Pūtarō. His other prominent voice roles from this era include Kazumi Ryudo in Haunted Junction, Leo in The New Adventures of Kimba The White Lion, Akihiro in Girl from Phantasia, and Arashi in Arcade Gamer Fubuki. He also had a role in the film Porco Rosso as a younger version of the protagonist and a member of the Mamma Aiuto gang. In the early 1990s, he voiced the character Haruhiko in the OVA Anata ga Furikaeru Toki and Boku in the television special Michite Kuru Toki no Mukō ni. His career has continued into recent years, with a role in the 2021 television anime Cestvs: The Roman Fighter.

Beyond anime, Furumoto has maintained an active career in live-action television and film, with appearances in the long-running drama series Kita no kuni kara and the Code Blue franchise. He was also a radio host for several years, most notably on the program Furumoto Shinnosuke no Chapparasuka WOO! from 1997 to 2002. In addition to his performance work, he has contributed theme songs for some of his series, including performing the opening theme for Sorcerer Hunters as a duet with fellow voice actor Megumi Hayashibara. His performance as the dog Junkers in the 1995 film Junkers Come Here was part of a production that won the Best Animation Film award at the Mainichi Film Awards. Furumoto is also a musician who plays the ukulele and has owned a Hawaiian goods store in Chiba Prefecture.
