Description
Momoko Togame is a magical girl from Shinsei Ward who attends Kamihama City University Affiliated School. Raised with an older and a younger brother, she developed a boyish demeanor while retaining a strong affection for girlish interests like stuffed animals and female idols.

Her journey began with a wish made to Kyubey for the courage to confess her feelings to a boy. This wish proved futile when another girl confessed moments before Momoko could act, leaving her with profound regret and a belief in perpetual "bad timing." Following this disappointment, she joined Yachiyo Nanami, Mifuyu Azusa, Tsuruno Yui, and Mel Anna. During a mission, Mel sacrificed herself to save Yachiyo, transforming into a witch. Consumed by rage at Kyubey and her teammates, Momoko abandoned the group.

Later, Momoko encountered Rena Minami at an idol concert, where they cooperated to defeat a witch. This partnership blossomed into a close team, further solidified when Momoko rescued Kaede Akino from a labyrinth. Momoko embraced an older-sister role for both Rena and Kaede, frequently mediating their arguments and offering support. Through reflection, she came to acknowledge her "bad timing" stemmed partly from her own hesitations, demonstrating increased self-awareness. She further solidified her growth by mentoring younger magical girls like Karin Misono, becoming a stabilizing figure.

In battle, Momoko wears a white tunic with green sleeves, dark gloves, a ruffled translucent skirt featuring armor plating, and white boots. She wields a large, curved machete, favoring physical attacks. Her wish-granted ability is "Encouragement." Her Doppel, Elfriede (the Doppel of Self-Discipline), manifests as giant manicured fingers that attack independently. Elfriede exhibits emotional volatility, emboldened by praise or despondent over criticism, demanding swift deployment.

Momoko's relationships define much of her narrative. Beyond her core team with Rena and Kaede, she maintains connections with Tsuruno Yui and Iroha Tamaki, offering guidance during the latter's distress. She idolizes Yukari Takeba and Rise Kujikawa, viewing them as symbols of cooperative feminine strength.
