TV-Series
Description
Ajimi Kiki teaches art at Paprika Private Academy, frequently mistaken for a student due to her short stature and vibrant energy. At 22, she stands as the series' oldest main character, born on November 3—Japan’s Culture Day—sharing this date with Pretty Rhythm’s Kanon Toudou. Her appearance features light pink hair in low braided pigtails secured with dotted pink-and-white bows, amber eyes, and distinctive half-rimmed pink glasses consistently worn during idol performances. She represents the Pop-type idol brand Candy Alamode More.

Eccentric and hyperactive, Ajimi operates at "150 mph" with scattered, relentless energy. Artistic inspiration triggers impulsive creative bursts, causing her to abandon tasks mid-action. She punctuates speech with artist names like "Da Vinci!", "Gauguin!", or "Gogh!", reflecting her artistic passion. This overwhelming enthusiasm strains relationships, notably with Hibiki Shikyoin. Ambidextrous and fond of spinning objects or herself, these quirks tie directly to her artistic focus.

Raised in PriParis, Ajimi’s childhood encounter with Hibiki led to persistent friendship attempts that drove Hibiki to flee the city, alter her appearance, and initially avoid Ajimi upon reuniting. Though Hibiki later tolerates her more, tensions linger. Ajimi reconnected with Cosmo Hojo, a rival-turned-friend from their foreign art academy days, and with Chanko Nabeshima formed the idol unit UCCHARI BIG-BANGS. As chief of the PriPara Police, she collaborates with Laala Manaka, Dorothy West, and Mikan Shiratama to uphold order.

Her role shifted from primary in Season 2 to comedic support in Season 3, while continuing to teach multiple subjects at Paprika Academy. Early designs omitted her glasses and featured alternate casual wear before finalizing her spectacled look. She shares erratic behavior, color motifs, design origins, and Death Tarot symbolism with Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future’s Kintaro Asechi.

Thematically, "Ajimi" (あじみ) means "taste," aligning with Season 2’s five-senses motif, while "Kiki" (黄木) blends "yellow" for the series’ color theme and "tree/wood." Fans coined "Ladylike Ajimi" (綺麗なあじみ) after a scene in Episode 88.
