Description
Non Manaka, initially a supporting character before becoming central in Season 3, is Laala Manaka's younger sister. A fourth-grade elementary school student, she idolizes Pink Actress, Falulu, Aromageddon, and Fuwari Midorikaze. In her civilian look, Non sports medium-length lavender hair styled in a side-tail with a light turquoise scrunchie and has dull purple eyes. Her final idol form features increased height and very long, curling side-tails while maintaining her original hair and eye color.

Mature, intelligent, and strategic, Non contrasts with her sister's demeanor. She approaches her idol ambitions with meticulous planning and logical execution, leveraging information effectively and demonstrating leadership. Non reveals her intentions methodically to maximize impact, maintaining a cute exterior while wielding significant influence. Her unit, NonSugar, surpassed others to become Paparajuku's top idols. Though she occasionally mocks or scolds Laala, Non holds deep respect for her and actively defends her against criticism. She shares a relatable dynamic with Janis due to their shared experiences of sibling rivalry with older sisters.

Non formed the unit NonSugar with Chili Tsukikawa and Pepper Taiyo. Initial conflicts with Chili, stemming from clashing personalities, evolved into a functional partnership. She maintains authority over Pepper, recognizing their similarities. Her manager, Usacha, shares her ambitious drive and resourcefulness.

Her idol development involved multiple identities: Kanon (Lovely-type, Episode 97), Pinon (Pop-type, Episode 98), and Junon (Cool-type, Episode 98) as part of the disbanded unit TRiANGLE. By Episode 101, she adopted her final, true idol form, rarely reverting to previous iterations. Significant coords include the Welcome Gingham Coord (casual wear), Twinkle Ribbon Sweet Cyalume Coord (cyalume changes), NonSugar Girly Ribbon Coord (unit performances), and Super Cyalume NonSugar Coord (unit super cyalume).

Her name means "No" in French and "sound" or "music" in Japanese. Her spiritual animal is a bunny, and her birthday is September 6 (Virgo), coinciding with Sisters Day in Japan. In Usacha's metaphorical rock-paper-scissors comparison, Non represents "Scissors."
