Description
Chihiro Ayagi is a supporting character in the anime and manga series DAKAICHI -I'm being harassed by the sexiest man of the year-. He is a 24-year-old actor represented by Japan Arts Enterprise. Standing 180 centimeters tall and weighing 63 kilograms, Chihiro has light brown hair often styled with long bangs that cover the right side of his face. His eyes are golden-brown, and he bears a distinctive beauty mark below the left corner of his lips. He was born on December 30th and has blood type B.

Chihiro's path to acting was unconventional and calculated. While working as a bartender during university, he deliberately seduced a female producer who visited the bar. Using the connections gained from this encounter, he secured representation with his current agency roughly three years before the main events of the story.

As a person, Chihiro approaches life with a deeply cynical outlook, prioritizing strategies that require minimal personal effort while maximizing his own gain. He has a habit of behaving according to the expectations of those around him, presenting a friendly and caring facade. This behavior, however, stems from self-interest and a desire for personal advantage rather than from genuine concern for others, which can make him appear careless and manipulative. Professionally, he has gained recognition for broadening his acting range, but persistent industry rumors suggest he uses casting couch tactics and pillow talk to advance his career.

His primary role in the story centers on his interactions with the top popular actor Takato Saijō. After co-starring with Takato in a production called The Red Leaf Ogre, Chihiro developed an intense and persistent interest in him. Following their first shoot together, he took an intoxicated Takato to a hotel. While he left visible marks on Takato, he refrained from further involvement upon learning of Takato's relationship with Junta Azumaya. Despite Takato’s clear desire to avoid him after this incident, Chihiro refuses to take no for an answer and continues to openly pursue him, frequently questioning Takato’s relationship with Junta and suggesting that he himself would be a better match.

Chihiro’s key relationship with Junta Azumaya is contentious from the start, largely due to Junta’s resentment over the hotel incident. During a conversation, Chihiro carelessly disclosed his use of pillow talk for career advancement, unaware that Junta was recording the admission on a tape. Junta now uses this recording as a form of blackmail to deter Chihiro’s advances towards Takato, a fact that Chihiro is frequently reminded of whenever he acts out. He also finds another colleague, Ryo Narumiya, irritating for his clumsy and childish behavior, often dismissively calling him a brat.

Throughout the narrative, Chihiro demonstrates notable abilities in calculated social manipulation and strategic interaction. He is adept at reading people and adjusting his behavior to achieve his goals, whether for career advancement or personal pursuit of Takato. His persistence and refusal to be deterred by rejection or threats, even when countered by Junta’s recorded evidence, highlight a core aspect of his determined and somewhat unscrupulous nature.
