Takuya Satō is a Japanese voice actor and singer born on May 19, 1984, in Miyagi Prefecture. He is affiliated with the talent agency Ken Production. His journey to becoming a voice actor was inspired by a childhood love for superhero and tokusatsu series, desiring to transform into different characters through his voice. He trained at the Tokyo Media Academy and later at School Duo, Ken Production's affiliated training school. Satō debuted as a voice actor in 2007, taking on various minor roles and working part-time jobs to support his dream. Before landing his first main anime role, he was primarily active in dubbing foreign dramas.

Satō's career breakthrough came in 2011 when he was cast as Toshiki Kai in the anime series Cardfight!! Vanguard. This role established him as a leading voice actor. He gained further acclaim and recognition in 2013 for his performance as Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. His portrayal of the beloved character was highly praised by fans and helped solidify his reputation in the industry. He also voiced Tatsuya Yuuki, also known as Meijin Kawaguchi the 3rd, in the Gundam Build Fighters series, starting in 2013.

Throughout his career, Satō has demonstrated a wide vocal range, taking on diverse roles across many series. He has been a consistent part of the IDOLiSH7 mixed-media project since 2018, voicing the character Ryunosuke Tsunashi. His filmography also includes roles in major franchises such as D.Gray-man Hallow as Yu Kanda, Haikyu!! as Yasushi Kamasaki, and Touken Ranbu as multiple characters. In 2021, he fulfilled a childhood dream by joining the Super Sentai series, voicing Vroon / Zenkai Vroon in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger.

Beyond anime, Satō is also active as a singer, having released several singles and mini-albums, with his music appearing on Oricon charts. He is a prolific voice actor in video games and drama CDs, and continues to work extensively in dubbing foreign films and television series, where he is known as the regular Japanese voice for Korean actors like Lee Seung-gi and Jung Il-woo. He is recognized for his strong acting skills and versatile singing ability, and is well-regarded by fans for his warm and professional demeanor. Satō announced on his blog in January 2013 that he is married.
