Description
Aki is a 12-year-old human girl living in the same coastal Japanese town as the Jin family. She is constantly accompanied by her best friend Michi, and together they form the "Kappei Fan Club" due to their unwavering companionship with Kappei Jin. Aki displays a sensible and confident personality, frequently giving Kappei candid feedback—including harsh words when necessary. Despite this, she openly admires him and his actions, particularly expressing awe for the Zambird aircraft he pilots.
She actively joins Kappei in his adventures, spanning everyday activities and battles against the Gaizok invaders. Often present during his escapades, she and Michi occasionally land in perilous situations, such as an early Mecha Boost attack where bladed tentacles threatened them, necessitating rescue by Kappei and Kozuki.
Aki meets her end during the Gaizok’s human bomb deployment. A bomb implanted in a civilian detonates near the King Beal ship as it attempts to close a route, killing Aki alongside other civilians. This event profoundly contributes to Kappei’s emotional burden throughout the series.
