Description
Tsubasa Takanashi, a third-year Shadoba College student and former president of the Third Feather Shadowverse club, initially rejected Shadowverse after witnessing Haruma Hazeura humiliate her admired senior, Seira. This event triggered Seira's resignation, Third Feather's decline, and fostered Tsubasa's cold, detached worldview, deeming dreams and bonds meaningless as they vanish. She minimally maintained Third Feather solely to bar Haruma, asserting seriousness only led to disappointment for the weak.

Confronting Seventh Flame and battling Light Tenryu aimed to prove persistence futile for weak players. Light's refusal to surrender and reminder of her past Shadowverse passion resulted in her defeat. Persuaded by Seira, Tsubasa joined Seventh Flame, gradually rediscovering her drive to improve and pursue professional Shadowverse goals.

Key relationships spurred her evolution. She initially dismissed Ren Kazamatsuri as childish during solo training, but their battle revealed Ren's pure passion, forging a strong bond. This connection enabled their joint investigation into the mysterious Gentleman's identity. Confronting Gentleman exposed Shion Otosaka, a reclusive individual with social anxiety. Tsubasa battled Shion, forming a deep connection and later collaborating to mentor Subaru Makabe in Shadowcraft, demonstrating emerging assertiveness and leadership.

As Seventh Flame's second representative in the Shadowverse Club Tournament, Tsubasa faced Seira. Hesitant about her strength against her senior, encouragement from Shion and teammates spurred her vow to shine brighter than Seira. Her victory led Seira to entrust her with the powerful card Tanzanite Convictor, which Tsubasa had previously refused until feeling worthy.

During a Genesis Island resort trip, she encouraged Shion to appear in person. Later, she supported Light against Mikado Shirogane and cared for him during recovery. Early losses in the Shadowverse World Ranking, especially to Miyabi Zaizenji, discouraged her. Challenging Andrea Rondo for improvement ended in defeat, but reignited her determination, leading to a rematch victory over Miyabi securing third place.

Transported to the Shadow Area against the Seven Shadows, Tsubasa faced Andrea, now revealed as one of them. Witnessing Andrea's tragic past solidified Tsubasa's resolve to restore Andrea's smile despite losing the match. Later, alongside Ren, she supported Shion against Warden Craft, reaffirming their trio bond.

Assigned with Ren to Sky Tower to halt the Arc Ruler's Shades during Genesis Corporation's invasion, they were intercepted by Andrea and Hina Sinclair. A perilous tag battle ensued using a system causing real biological feedback. Reasoning failed against Andrea and Hina, who had given up on the world. Tsubasa and Ren prevailed through their DigiFriends' evolution. When the ground collapsed, Tsubasa's rescue attempt failed as Andrea fell into the void, leaving her heartbroken.

In the final conflict against Wolfram Zerga, Tsubasa supported Light using Wingy, Glorious Gemstone. Post-victory, she and teammates used their ace cards to clear a path; Tanzanite Convictor and Diamond Master specifically created footing for Light. Accepting the Arc Ruler's offer to forget saving the world, she deemed it best for a normal life. Returning to school, she helped organize a Seventh Flame celebration party.

Personality-wise, she presents low tension, often lost in thought while neglecting surroundings. She favors vegetable juice, rarely consuming other foods or drinks, and avoids overly sweet brands. Initially masking her true self with cold disinterest after Seira's defeat, joining Seventh Flame fostered acceptance and growth. She developed an authoritarian streak, becoming the group's voice of reason and authoritative senior, notably reacting to members skipping training. Positive feelings replaced earlier negativity, though she retained her underlying dry demeanor.

Her Havencraft deck specializes in granting followers Storm and Ward simultaneously, leveraging amulets and Crystallize effects. Cards like Bejeweled Shrine and her ace, Diamond Master, exploit abilities granted randomly to followers. Key cards include Azurite Maiden, Diamond Master, Topaz Swordian, Turquoise Sister, and Sacred Blade.
