Description
Tsubasa Arihara is a spirited and optimistic central figure driven by a deep passion for baseball. She possesses mid-back length caramel-brown hair, typically tied in a half bun on the left side with a yellow ribbon, chest-length strands framing her face, and light blue eyes. Standing 160 cm tall and weighing 52 kg, her birthday is March 3rd, placing her under the Pisces zodiac sign.

A former All-Japan Senior Little League Baseball champion with the Fujiura Little League team, her past features a pivotal moment: hitting a walk-off grand slam to clinch the championship against the powerhouse Kuramoto Chuo Little League, led by her future rival Ryo Shinonome. This victory underscored her belief in teamwork over individual talent, as Kuramoto Chuo's players blamed each other for mistakes while Tsubasa's team stayed unified. Despite this achievement, she stepped away from baseball for six months before rediscovering her passion.

Upon entering Satogahama High School, Tsubasa discovered the absence of a girls' baseball team and initiated efforts to establish one. Her unorthodox recruitment included interrupting a school assembly to appeal for members, drawing opposition from the student council. Persisting through setbacks, she secured the three founding members required: her pragmatic best friend Tomoe Kawakita, the hesitant but athletic Yuuki Nozaki, and the shy Akane Ukita. This core formed the official association, gradually expanding as Tsubasa convinced others to join, including the strategy-minded Waka Suzuki, aspiring reporter Ayaka Nakano, and enthusiastic cheerleader Yoshimi Iwaki. The group overcame challenges like securing practice space and refurbishing a dilapidated field.

Tsubasa's journey centers on unwavering optimism and commitment to fostering camaraderie. She consistently supports teammates facing hurdles, such as Yuuki's fear of failing in team sports or Akane's physical limitations, emphasizing collective growth over individual skill. Her leadership is tested reconciling with Ryo Shinonome, who initially dismissed the team as amateurish and resented Tsubasa for the past victory. After Ryo failed to join a semi-professional team due to poor teamwork, Tsubasa encouraged her to value collaboration over rivalry, ultimately integrating her into the squad as a third baseman.

Within the team, Tsubasa evolved from founder to primary shortstop, wearing jersey number 6. She is right-handed in both batting and throwing. Her focus remained steadfast on uniting diverse personalities into a cohesive unit, aiming to compete in national tournaments like the girls' Koushien.
