Description
Setsuna Yuki, legally named Nana Nakagawa, navigates Nijigasaki High School as a second-year student. She operates under the "Setsuna Yuki" pseudonym—inspired by a beloved light novel character—to shield her school idol pursuits from her strict parents, who forbid anime, manga, and idol activities at home. Her discovery of school idols sparked an intense feeling of "fate," compelling her to establish and lead the original Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. As Setsuna, she captivates audiences with energetic performances, becoming an influential idol recognized by a signature scarlet-red image.

This dual identity fuels an urban legend, as students seldom encounter "Setsuna" on campus. Unbeknownst to them, she attends classes as Nana Nakagawa, styling her bluish-dark gray hair in two low pigtail braids and wearing glasses. She transforms into Setsuna solely for idol events, partially tying her hair in a ponytail accented with a rose-shaped ornament. Nana also served as student council president before passing the role to Shioriko Mifune to prioritize her idol commitments.

Setsuna radiates energetic charisma and emotional expressiveness, channeling deep passion into her interests. She enthusiastically discusses anime, manga, and video games, dedicating weekends to watching five hours of anime and playing three hours of games. Academically proficient, she harbors a dislike for health class due to its embarrassing topics. Her kindness manifests in unwavering support for friends, exemplified by persistently consuming Kasumi Nakasu's poorly made spicy bread to avoid causing disappointment. Though she enjoys cooking, peers describe her culinary skills as "a bit too original," often responding to taste inquiries with silence.

Across official media, Setsuna reconciles her identities after her mother discovers and joyfully accepts her idol activities, attending a concert. She collaborates with Karin Asaka and Kasumi Nakasu on Dengeki Online, reflecting her otaku passions. Within the subunit A・ZU・NA, she promotes her dream of a world where people freely express their passions, championing school idols as spaces of empowerment and authenticity. Her story arcs emphasize balancing responsibilities, embracing vulnerability, and fostering unity. She remains central to Nijigasaki's rebuild and growth, contributing to songs like "Eternalize Love!!" and appearing in spin-offs like the 4-koma series "Nijiyon," depicting daily club life.
