Tomori Kusunoki is a Japanese voice actress and singer born in Tokyo on December 22, 1999. She is affiliated with the agency Sony Music Artists and releases music under the Sacra Music label. Her interest in voice acting began in her second year of junior high school, inspired by Kana Hanazawa's performance in the anime Kobato. To pursue this path, she participated in an audition held by Sony Music Artists, applying as a singer due to her lack of formal voice acting experience. She received a special prize at the competition, which led to her debut.

Kusunoki made her voice acting debut in 2017 with a minor role in the series Eromanga Sensei. Her first main role came the same year as the protagonist Kirara in the mobile game Kirara Fantasia. She quickly gained recognition for her leading roles, including Karen Kohiruimaki, also known as Llenn, in Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online in 2018, for which she also performed the ending theme song. In 2019, she was one of the recipients of the Best New Actress Award at the 13th Seiyuu Awards.

Kusunoki has played a wide array of significant roles across various anime series. Among her notable performances are Futaba Igarashi in My Senpai Is Annoying, Neiru Aonuma in Wonder Egg Priority, Natsume in Deca-Dence, and Latifa in Seirei Gensouki - Spirit Chronicles. She also voiced Annette in Spy Classroom, Hanako Satō in Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, Kotetsu Tatejima in Anima Yell!, Melida Angel in Assassins Pride, Misha Necron in The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Romin Kirishima in Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens, and Karasuba in Prima Doll. Her repertoire extends to web animations, where she voiced Lara Tchaikoskaya in Tiger & Bunny 2 and Tia Noto Yoko in Bastard!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-. In video games, she is known for voicing Kanade Yoisaki in Project SEKAI COLORFUL STAGE! and Firefly in Honkai: Star Rail. A highly prominent role was Makima in the 2022 anime adaptation of Chainsaw Man.

From 2017, Kusunoki was the voice of Setsuna Yūki in the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club multimedia franchise, a role that also involved live stage performances. In 2021, she was diagnosed with a congenital condition that causes pain and numbness during strenuous physical activity, leading her to refrain from dance performances. In November 2022, it was announced that she had been diagnosed with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and due to the physical demands of the role, she would step down from voicing Setsuna Yūki on March 31, 2023.

Beyond her voice acting, Kusunoki is also an active singer-songwriter. She made her solo artist debut in 2020 with the EP Hamidashimono, the title track of which was used as an ending theme for The Misfit of Demon King Academy. Her musical foundation was established early, having learned piano from the age of three, played trumpet in her junior high school brass band, and been a vocalist in her high school light music club. Her other hobbies and skills include songwriting, playing the guitar, and drawing.
