TV-Series
Description
Iyo is a central character in the narrative, initially introduced as a 17-year-old popular idol who had taken a year-long hiatus from her career. The truth behind her absence is deeply tragic, stemming from the severe mental and emotional exhaustion caused by a relentless stalker. This pressure culminated in a suicide attempt in her dressing room. Her current public existence as an idol is a complex deception; she is not the original Iyo. Instead, a male fan who had snuck into her dressing room and witnessed the original Iyo's suicide attempt now inhabits her body and life. Using the power granted to him as a divine candidate, he assumed her appearance and experiences her pain and suffering, resolved to continue her idol activities and orchestrate her comeback.

The personality of the individual now known as Iyo is layered. On the surface, she performs the role of a bright and captivating idol, maintaining the sunny public image that the original Iyo was known for. Beneath this facade, however, resides a profound understanding of trauma, vulnerability, and deep-seated rage. Her motivations are largely driven by empathy for the original Iyo's suffering and a powerful desire for justice, which quickly turns to violent retribution upon confronting her stalker. The character demonstrates considerable strength and resilience by returning to the spotlight, but this strength is constantly shadowed by the trauma of the past, and her actions are often fueled by a potent mix of sorrow and fury. Her primary driving force becomes linked to Goro, whom she aims to captivate and remain beside after he persuades her to continue her idol path.

Iyo's role in the story is multifaceted. She is both a victim and a figure of immense, hidden power. Her true nature as a divine candidate is revealed during a commemorative live concert. After encountering Goro in the venue's restroom, a bombing incident occurs, and in the ensuing chaos, they come face-to-face with the perpetrator, who is the very stalker responsible for the original Iyo's suicide attempt. Consumed by rage, she reveals her secret identity to Goro and attempts to kill the stalker. Goro stops her, convincing her to remain as Iyo and continue her idol activities, a plea that ultimately gives her a renewed, though complicated, sense of purpose within the deadly KamiErabi game.

Her key relationships define her actions. Goro is the most significant figure; he is a witness to her true identity and the person who prevents her from becoming a killer, instead persuading her to embrace her role as an idol. For his sake, she decides to continue her career. She is also a part of Goro’s broader circle, appearing as a surprise gift for him at a celebration organized by his associates Lall and Kōki. A more bizarre encounter ties her to another candidate, Mitsuko, who emerges naked from a television in her presence. Her antagonist is the stalker, the source of her trauma and the target of her attempted vengeance.

Throughout the series, Iyo's development is marked by her struggle with her dual identity and the evolution of her motivations. Initially driven by empathy and a desire to imitate the original idol, a near-lethal confrontation with her harasser forces her to act on her own violent impulses. Goro's intervention redirects her path, transforming her desire for revenge into a more protective and captivating goal tied to him. As the story progresses, she becomes more deeply entangled in the mysteries of the KamiErabi, questioning the nature of her powers and the true significance of the selection process alongside Goro. Her journey involves learning to control her immense powers not just for survival, but also to uphold the persona of Iyo the idol.

Iyo possesses a distinct and formidable ability known as Everyone's Support. This power grants her the capacity to mimic anything. In practical terms, this has been demonstrated through her ability to create multiple spear-like objects in the air and launch them at an opponent, as well as generate protective barriers. The full scope and limitations of this ability remain unknown, but it proves to be a versatile and powerful tool in combat and protection. Her physical appearance is that of a teenage girl with black hair styled at neck-length and distinctive turquoise eyes.
