Description
Minos is a minotaur from Hell, instantly recognizable by her blue hair, pink eyes, prominent bovine horns, and a tail. Her tall, curvaceous frame stands out. She typically wears a collar with a bell, a "100% Beef" T-shirt, a cow-patterned hoodie, a black mini-skirt, mismatched socks, and distinctive shoes. Every thousand years on her November 29th birthday, her horns shed, triggering an involuntary transformation into a cat-eared maid with uncharacteristically polite mannerisms; this state fades without her memory, leaving only embarrassment. Despite her minotaur nature, she readily consumes beef.
Her father runs the Matsuya Group, a major demon world construction business. School peers avoided Minos due to minotaur stereotypes about violence and perceived unfemininity, isolating her until Jashin-chan offered friendship. This childhood bond remains strong, though Minos's unchecked strength often accidentally injures Jashin-chan during interactions. Minos later moved to the human world, initially to confront Yurine Hanazono but ultimately settling into an apartment next door. She maintains a routine of visiting Yurine for breakfast and works various part-time jobs, utilizing her physique for milk delivery and construction labor.
Minos possesses superhuman minotaur abilities: immense strength for pulling heavy carts or crumbling rock; remarkable speed and agility enabling pre-dawn deliveries; high durability that lets her survive explosions; and tireless stamina. She sometimes struggles to control this strength, causing accidental harm. Her personality is cheerful, earnest, and straightforward, often acting before thinking. She is kind and helpful, assisting humans, angels, and demons alike without prejudice, making her popular with coworkers and local children. She mentors Persephone II like a younger sister, training her to build physical health.
Her relationships include a close, enduring friendship with Jashin-chan and Medusa, profound gratitude toward Jashin-chan for childhood support, and a respectful rapport with Yurine after initial conflict. She actively seeks friendships with angels like Pekora and Poporon. The spin-off manga "Minos's Beef 100%" focuses on her culinary exploration of meat dishes in Jinbocho. She has been immune to colds since childhood, and she is one of the series' most morally grounded characters.
Her development across media highlights her adaptability to human world life, dedication to self-improvement through daily training, and consistent role as a dependable, albeit sometimes overzealous, ally.
