Description
Persephone II, also called Kasugai Picoletta, is the daughter of underworld deities Hades and Persephone. Her gray or white hair covers her right eye, and she possesses pointed ears alongside rose pink or aubergine eyes mirroring her mother's. Standing about 145 cm tall, she initially wears a black hooded robe, boots, and a gas mask to shield her from the human world's polluted air. Later attire includes a white long-sleeved shirt with a black knot, black overalls with a skirt, black stockings, and shoes, sometimes adding a red hibiscus at the beach.
She is soft-spoken, naïve, and kind-hearted, earnestly seeking friendship with humans, devils, and angels alike. Her cheerful and pure-hearted nature occasionally gives way to a sharp tongue, especially when teasing her rival yet older-sister figure, Jashin-chan. Persephone II befriends others readily, forming a bond with Poporon while unaware of Poporon's intent to kill her due to her lineage. She also helps Ecute become more sociable and receives homework help from Yurine Hanazono.
Sent to the human world by her mother to find and aid Jashin-chan, she initially struggled to locate her. Persephone II has a weak constitution, frequently vomiting blood and being sensitive to unclean air—a trait implied inherited from her mother. After arrival, she moves in with Minos for care and strength training, joining morning runs and taking part-time jobs. Her relationship with her mother deepens when Persephone I stays in the human world.
