Description
Poporon began as a subordinate to the angel Pekora in Heaven. She pursued Pekora to Earth not for rescue, but to eliminate her and permanently seize Pekora's position as a full-fledged angel. This mission involved direct violence, including firing a rocket launcher at Pekora during their confrontation.

Her Earth mission suffered significant setbacks through multiple encounters with the demon Jashin-chan. In one critical altercation, Jashin-chan consumed Poporon's halo, stripping her of angelic powers and trapping her in the human world indefinitely. Stranded, she adopted the human pseudonym Amatsuka Noel, securing part-time work as a waitress at Genesis Ramen while pursuing a career as a pop idol singer.

Physically, Poporon possesses long golden-blonde hair with curled ends and light green eyes. She retains white wings she can conceal. Her initial attire consisted of a blue jacket over a white dress and lace-up boots, complemented by a distinctive purse bearing a drawn face. The loss of her halo, a key symbol of her angelic status, became a permanent physical change after the incident with Jashin-chan.

Her personality blends cruelty, selfishness, and brutality, notably evident in her willingness to kill Pekora for personal gain. She exhibits pronounced pride, often masking emerging positive traits behind indifference or hostility. However, prolonged exposure to human society and specific individuals gradually influences her behavior. She demonstrates fear toward Yurine’s harsh methods yet begins developing genuine, if reluctant, concern for others like Persephone II, whom she initially intended to betray.

Her relationships reflect complexity and evolution. With Pekora, initial hostility shifts toward a tense alliance after both lose their halos; Poporon accepts Pekora as a bodyguard, strengthening their bond despite refusing to openly acknowledge friendship. Mutual animosity persists with Jashin-chan, marked by ridicule and physical clashes, though Poporon occasionally accepts Jashin-chan’s help and shows sporadic concern for her. Her dynamic with Persephone II transitions from calculated manipulation to authentic affection, complicating her initial mission to eliminate her. She also maintains a familiar, albeit mockingly contentious, rapport with fellow former subordinate Pino.

Her experiences on Earth catalyze subtle development. While pride remains central, interactions with humans and supernatural beings like Minos and Persephone II foster moments of empathy and cooperation. This shift manifests in her willingness to aid Pekora when beneficial and internal conflict over feelings of loneliness if separated from her, indicating a departure from her originally rigid and self-serving worldview.
