Description
Aria, the Demon Sword of the Wind, emerged from a Demon Contract forged during the Valbanill War. Though her exact age remains undefined, her memories stretch across four decades of violence, shaped by exploitation as a weapon in endless conflicts. Crafted on battlefields and wielded by those consumed by vengeance or ambition, she was forced to enact atrocities against her will, seeding a profound hatred for killing and a resolve to shield others—a stark contrast to her destructive origins.

In human guise, Aria takes the form of a youthful woman with light brown hair, golden eyes, and a slender frame, often clad in revealing green garments. Lighthearted and flirtatious, she exudes a playful demeanor, regularly teasing Cecily about her physique and romantic tensions with Luke. Yet beneath this cheerful facade lies a haunting sorrow and existential unease, remnants of her traumatic history and the moral turmoil of her existence.

Her powers revolve around wind manipulation and transformation into a spiral-hilted rapier, triggered by the incantation: “I call on the powers that be, reveal the truth within. Awaken the power of wind, awaken and slay God!” As a blade, she channels wind-based abilities for her wielder—ranged beams, defensive veils, explosive speed bursts, and devastating strikes. Prolonged use drains her strength, leaving her temporarily unable to hold her form. She also senses nearby demonic entities, a vestige of her origins.

Aria’s bond with Cecily Campbell, a knight who rejects killing, becomes transformative. Inspired by Cecily’s dedication to protection over violence, Aria cultivates a friendship rooted in mutual trust, reshaping her self-view from a tool of war to a guardian. Their synergy in combat strengthens Cecily’s mission to defend the vulnerable.

Aria’s journey forces her to confront her identity. Once resigned to a bloody fate, her alliance with Cecily sparks change, culminating in her choice to sacrifice herself to seal the antagonist Valbanill—an act that traps her within a centuries-long imprisonment. Later, descendants of Cecily and Luke, aided by the immortal Lisa, craft a new sacred sword to shatter her bonds, finally freeing her from eternal servitude.

Her arc traces a path from weaponized obedience to self-authored purpose, grappling with reconciliation between a violent legacy and a yearning for peace. Through relationships that redefine strength, Aria claims agency over her destiny, embodying redemption through acts of protection and sacrifice.
