Kirisame acts as an antagonist in the OVA. Recruited from Amegakure by the primary antagonist Suien, he joins enemy ninjas attacking Takigakure. Kirisame forms one assault team alongside Murasame and Hisame under Suien's command, targeting the village to take hostages and steal Takigakure's sacred Hero Water—a substance granting immense chakra power at the cost of the drinker's lifespan.

He participates in capturing and torturing Takigakure villagers, including children, pressuring village leader Shibuki to surrender the Hero Water. When Shibuki consumes the water to gain power, Kirisame is swiftly overpowered by him in battle before Shibuki confronts Suien.

Kirisame wears a mask and hat as part of his attacking ninja attire. His documented role is exclusively as a subordinate combatant within Suien's forces during the OVA's events.
