Irwin Daayan is a Mexican voice actor and dubbing director with a career spanning over three decades. He was born in Mexico City on November 9, 1978. His first involvement in dubbing came in 1987 with the film Empire of the Sun. He is known for his versatility, frequently voicing characters ranging from young boys to adults.

Daayan is often recognized for his work as the voice of Yugi Muto and his alter ego Yami Yugi in the anime Yu-Gi-Oh!. In the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure franchise, he voices Jotaro Kujo in the Stone Ocean arc and related appearances. He also voices the god Poseidon in Record of Ragnarok and the magician Lyserg Diethel in Shaman King.

His filmography includes prominent roles in a wide range of anime series. He voices Genta Doi in Hi Score Girl and Inyo in Ultramarine Magmell. He also took on the role of the powerful wizard Dark Schneider in the Netflix anime BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-. In the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy (Siege and Earthrise), he voices the Decepticon Starscream. He voiced Remi Puguna in the film Promare and Shigure Soma in Fruits Basket. In the Doraemon franchise, he voices both the titular character Doraemon and Suneo Honekawa in the film Stand By Me Doraemon 2. He also provided the voice for Risu in Dorohedoro.

Beyond these roles, Daayan has voiced numerous other characters, including Kimimaro Kaguya and the Nine-Tailed Fox (Kurama) in Naruto and Naruto Shippūden, Seiya in the Hades Chapter of Saint Seiya, Kensuke Aida in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Joe Shimamura in Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier, and Trafalgar Law in One Piece. He has also been involved as a dubbing director, most notably on the Latin Spanish dub of Stand By Me Doraemon 2 and BASTARD!! -Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy-.
