10Asobotto Senki Goku
Goku and his companions arrive at the heavily fortified capital of the Mugun Empire, seeking an audience with the emperor to obtain the key to the ancient ruins. Imperial soldiers immediately surround them, but the emperor, having heard of their journey, grants them entry. Inside the palace, the emperor presents a seemingly simple challenge: retrieve a ceremonial treasure from the royal vault without triggering its security mechanisms. As Goku navigates the vault’s corridors, a trap separates him from his friends, forcing him to rely solely on his own judgment. He discovers the treasure is a decoy, and the true trial is a test of character meant to expose those who seek power for selfish reasons. Meanwhile, Tsurugi and Ruri negotiate with the emperor, learning that the Mugun Empire has been secretly supplying weapons to multiple factions, prolonging regional conflicts to maintain its own influence. The emperor reveals that the key will only be granted if Goku’s party proves they can unite the warring territories rather than seize power. Goku completes the trial by refusing to take the treasure, demonstrating that he values trust over conquest. The emperor concedes and hands over the key, but warns that its activation will alert a shadowy organization monitoring all ancient technology. As they depart, scouts report that a rival warlord has mobilized forces to intercept the key, setting a direct pursuit into motion.

17The Ceremony of the Wind
Goku and his companions arrive at a village where the annual Wind Ceremony is about to take place. The villagers explain that the ceremony requires a young girl to ascend the sacred mountain and offer a prayer to the wind deity. A girl named Rin is chosen for the ritual, but her brother objects to her participation. Goku’s guardian, a mechanical being named Asobot, detects unusual energy readings coming from the mountain. The antagonist, Zora, appears and challenges Goku to a battle, attempting to prevent him from interfering. During the fight, Rin decides to proceed with the ceremony despite the danger, climbing the mountain alone. Goku defeats Zora’s forces and pursues her, finding the mountain filled with malfunctioning security drones. He discovers that the “deity” is actually an ancient military installation activating its defense systems. Rin becomes trapped inside the structure as automated weapons target her. Goku breaches the facility’s exterior using his Asobot’s full power, creating an opening for her to escape. The structure collapses behind them, and the villagers declare the ceremony complete. Zora retreats, stating that Goku has only delayed a larger plan already in motion.

Sanzo and his group arrive at a new town where they encounter Cat Luke,a character from previous episodes, who has been causing trouble for the locals. Luke attempts to steal from the group but is quickly subdued by Goku. Their confrontation is interrupted by the arrival of Doberman King and Elephant Bishop, two members of the Quartet who serve the main antagonist, Ryutaro Demon. The villains demand that the group hand over the six keys they have collected. Sanzo refuses, prompting Doberman King to attack with his army of infected Assobots. Goku fights Elephant Bishop but struggles against the enemy's superior power and strategy. Joe and Tongo provide support, fending off waves of infected machines to protect Suzie and Sanzo. During the battle, Sanzo attempts to use his harmonica to heal the infected Assobots, but his current power is insufficient against the Quartet's influence. Realizing they are outmatched, the group is forced to retreat from the town. The episode ends with Doberman King and Elephant Bishop vowing to capture the keys and destroy the bandits. The retreat establishes a clear power gap between the protagonists and the Quartet, reinforcing the immediate need for more keys to strengthen Sanzo's harmonica. Cat Luke, impressed by the group's resilience, decides to follow them, setting up a new, uncertain alliance for the next stage of their journey.
