Salvador Delgado is a Mexican actor and director of dubbing, as well as a voice actor and translator, recognized for his extensive work in Latin American Spanish adaptations of animated series, films, and live-action productions. He was born on July 24, 1961, in Uruapan, Michoacán, Mexico. His career in dubbing began in 1985 at the company Telespeciales, a start that coincided with the day of a significant earthquake in Mexico City. His first role was a small part in an episode of the animated series She-Ra: Princess of Power, and he soon landed his first starring role dubbing actor William Hurt in the film Gorky Park.

Delgado is known for his deep and elegant vocal tone, which has often led him to be cast in roles that are serious, mysterious, elegant, or sarcastic. His work spans a wide range of genres, but he is particularly prominent in the world of anime. In the Sailor Moon franchise, he is the recurring voice of Artemis, the white cat mentor to the Sailor Guardians. He has voiced this character across numerous productions, including the classic Sailor Moon series, its various movies, the later series Sailor Moon Crystal and its third season, and the films Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal and Sailor Moon Cosmos. He also voiced the character Yusuke Amade in the original Sailor Moon series.

Beyond Sailor Moon, Delgado has contributed his voice to many other classic anime series. In Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac), he has voiced several characters, including Isaac of Kraken, Misty of Lagarto, and Ptolemy of Sagita. His work in the Dragon Ball franchise is extensive, where he has voiced the Tournament Announcer, General Blue, and Garlic Jr., among others. In Slam Dunk, he provided the voice for Akira Sendo. His filmography includes the role of Andro in Tekkaman, the Space Knight and Selininteus in the film Hashire Melos!. He voiced Jou in the series Asobotto Senki Goku, known as Monkey Typhoon in some regions. Other notable anime credits include roles in Inuyasha, Naruto, Pokémon, Rurouni Kenshin, and Shaman King.

In addition to his anime roles, Salvador Delgado is widely recognized for his voice work in live-action films and television series. He is the official Latin American Spanish dubbing voice for several prominent actors, including Nicolas Cage, Liam Neeson, Denzel Washington, and Antonio Banderas. One of his most famous and acclaimed roles is that of Dr. Gregory House in the television series House M.D.. He has also voiced characters in major film franchises, such as Qui-Gon Jinn in Star Wars, Sirius Black in the Harry Potter series, and Boromir in The Lord of the Rings. Beyond acting, Delgado has also worked as a dubbing director, with credits including the Latin Spanish dub of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.
