An evil alien conqueror known as King Horn arrives on Earth with a single, destructive ambition: to rule the universe. His path to ultimate power lies in collecting all seven of the mythical Dragon Pearls, mystical orbs that summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Having already secured two of the pearls, King Horn dispatches his two most fearsome warriors, Zabrata and Malila, to hunt down the remaining five scattered across the planet.

The search for the pearls brings together an unlikely band of heroes. A young, naive, and remarkably strong boy called Monkey Boy lives a peaceful life in the mountains with his elderly grandfather, Sparkle, who possesses one of the coveted four-star Dragon Pearls. Their quiet existence is shattered when King Horns minions attack, kidnapping Sparkle and stealing the precious heirloom. In the aftermath, Monkey Boy joins forces with a clever and resourceful young woman named Seetoe, who is also on a quest for the pearls. Their group expands to include a lecherous but skilled old martial artist known as Turtle Man, a desert bandit from the Wild West named Westwood, and a shapeshifting creature named Piggy.

As King Horn grows closer to his goal, the group races against time to prevent the pearls from falling into his hands. Their journey is a chaotic blend of martial arts battles, strange encounters, and low-tech special effects. The conflict culminates in a final confrontation where the heroes discover that all seven Dragon Pearls have been swallowed by King Horn himself. In a desperate move, Monkey Boy uses his extending Power Pole to force the final pearl into the kings stomach, completing the set and summoning the eternal dragon Shenlong. The dragon appears and, at the request of a village chiefs daughter, grants a wish to resurrect those who were killed during the tyrants rampage, allowing the heroes to restore peace to the land.
