Alessio De Filippis is an established Italian voice actor, born in Rome on January 28, 1982, who has lent his voice to a wide array of characters in animated series and films for the Italian market. He is the older brother of fellow voice actor Stefano De Filippis.

De Filippis began his career in dubbing at a young age and quickly gained recognition for his versatility. A significant milestone came in 2003 when he was awarded the Male Voice of the Year - Cartoons and Radio by the public at the Gran Galà del Doppiaggio.

He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of protagonists in major anime franchises. His most prominent role is that of Kazuto Kirigaya, also known as Kirito, the main character in the highly popular Sword Art Online series. He has voiced Kirito across numerous installments, including the original series Sword Art Online, Sword Art Online: Alicization and its War of Underworld arcs, the films Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale, Sword Art Online: Progressive - Aria of a Starless Night and its sequel, and various specials. Another landmark role early in his career was providing the voice of Gon Freecss in the first Italian-language adaptation of the Hunter × Hunter anime.

His extensive filmography includes many other notable anime and animated series. He voiced Ginga Izumo in L'invincibile Dendoh (Gear Fighter Dendoh) and Gabu Samejima in Idaten Jump. For the Pokémon franchise, he voiced Wigglytuff in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness. His repertoire also includes Arata Sena in Danbōru Senki Wars, Tane Kozuki in Gokujō!! Mecha Mote Iinchō, Duo Maxwell in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition, Setsuna Kai in Shin Megami Tensei Devil Children, Tsurugi Tatewaki in Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes, and Sorada in The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky. He also voiced Hikaru Ichijo in a dubbing of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross.

Beyond anime, De Filippis has voiced a multitude of iconic characters in Western animation, demonstrating his wide range. He is the Italian voice of Robin in several series and films, including Teen Titans, Teen Titans Go!, and the first season of Young Justice. He also voices Aang in Avatar: The Legend of Aang, Rigby in Regular Show, and Lincoln Loud in The Loud House. His work extends to voice roles in films such as Peter Pan in Return to Neverland, young Gohan in the first dubbing of several early Dragon Ball Z movies, and Kai in the 2018 redub of Akira. In 2023, he became the new official Italian voice of the character Daffy Duck.

Throughout his career, De Filippis has frequently collaborated with Italian dubbing directors and studios such as E.T.S. - European Television Service, where he worked on L'invincibile Dendoh under the direction of Massimo Corizza and Fabrizio Mazzotta.
