Susanna Fassetta

Description
Susanna Fassetta is an Italian former actress and voice actor, particularly active in the dubbing of anime during the 1970s and 1980s. Born in Venice on January 30, 1961, she began her artistic career at a young age in Milan, working in dubbing, radio, and advertising before moving to Rome to pursue theater. She is the sister of former actor and voice actor Christian Fassetta, with whom she occasionally collaborated on dubbing projects.

Fassetta provided the Italian voice for a wide array of characters in popular anime series. Among her most notable roles are Hiromi Oka, known as Jenny Nolan in the Italian editions of the Aim for the Ace! franchise, including the television series, films, and OVAs. She also voiced the title character in the Italian dub of Little Lulu, Ai Kisugi in Cat's Eye, and Pat Mizuhara in Attacker You! (known in Italy as Pat, la ragazza del baseball). Her extensive filmography includes numerous other roles, such as Diana Barry in Anne of Green Gables, Annie in Candy Candy, Helen Watson in Sampei the Fisherman, and Jeanne Valois in Lady Oscar. She was also a prominent voice in the Italian dub of Urusei Yatsura (Lamù), voicing multiple characters including Ten, Shinobu, Ran, and Ryūnosuke across the series and films.

In addition to her anime work, Fassetta dubbed the voices of actresses such as Sophie Marceau in the French films La Boum (Il tempo delle mele) and La Boum 2, and Shannen Doherty in the television series Little House on the Prairie. She also appeared as an on-screen actress in several Italian films and television series during the 1970s and 1980s.

Around the age of thirty, Fassetta retired from her entertainment career. She relocated to the Dominican Republic, where she runs a horse breeding farm and an equestrian school, and manages a translation agency.
