Jeremiah Yurk
Description
Jeremiah Yurk is an English-language voice actor known primarily for his work on the Canadian-produced Blue Water dubs of several anime series, most notably the Dragon Ball franchise.
Yurk is best recognized for voicing the adult version of the protagonist Son Goku in the Blue Water English dub of Dragon Ball GT. This dub, produced in Canada, was separate from the more widely distributed Funimation dub. In addition to his lead role in GT, Yurk voiced the character Eighter, also known as Android #8, in the Blue Water dub of the original Dragon Ball television series. Android #8 is a gentle and kind-hearted artificial human created by the Red Ribbon Army who befriends Goku.
Beyond his work on Dragon Ball, Yurks acting credits include roles in other anime series produced during the same era. He provided the English voice for Homura in the series Noroi and appeared in an episode of Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam in the role of Bask's Adjutant. He was also credited for an unspecified role in an episode of Dragon Ball GT. His other known credits include parts in the film Recky Flame and the series Dear Boys, often in minor roles such as Barricade Cop and Hotel Clerk. His known voice acting work was primarily active in the mid-1990s to the early 2000s.
