Miguel Angel Sanromán, also known by his full name Miguel Ángel Manuel Sanromán Rangel, is a veteran Mexican voice actor and dubbing director born on May 13, 1936 in Mexico City. He began his professional career in voice dubbing in 1956 and has maintained an active presence in the field for over six decades, while also working in radio, theater, television, and commercial voiceover. He studied at the Instituto Cinematográfico de Radio y Televisión in Mexico and later earned a degree in film in California, United States.

Within the anime genre, Sanromán is best recognized for his portrayal of Master Roshi, known in Spanish as Maestro Roshi, in the Dragon Ball franchise. He took on this role starting with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and continued as the character in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F and Dragon Ball Super. His other notable anime roles include Dr. Kaos in Ghost Sweeper Mikami, known in Spanish as Cazafantasmas Mikami, and El Corredor Enmascarado, also known as Rex Mifune, in the classic series Speed Racer, titled Meteoro in Spanish. His extensive anime filmography also includes characters in Ranma ½, Gulliver Boy, Zenki, Dr. Slump 2, Kirby, Zatch Bell, Trigun, Inuyasha, Naruto, and Bleach, where he provided the voice for Soken Ishida. He also contributed additional voices to series such as Tekkaman Blade and Flint: The Time Detective.

Beyond his voice work, Sanromán has also worked as a dubbing director for many years. His career spans a wide range of animated productions outside of anime as well. He has provided voices for animated films such as The Iron Giant, The Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration, Hey Arnold! The Movie, The Book of Life, and The Prophet. In animated series, his voice can be heard in episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, South Park (Mexican dub), and Looney Tunes, among many others. He has also dubbed characters in live-action films, notably as trainer Mickey Goldmill in the Rocky series and as Lou Costello in numerous Abbott and Costello productions.
