Sandro Blümel
Description
Sandro Blümel is a German voice actor known for his extensive work in dubbing anime series and films. His career began at a very young age, as he first stood in front of a microphone in a dubbing studio when he was ten years old. He is particularly recognized for providing the German voice for the character Jack Atlas in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, including the film Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time.
One of Blümel's earliest and most prominent roles was as the child voice of Son Gohan in the classic RTL2 broadcasts of the anime series Dragon Ball Z and several of its associated films. This marked the beginning of a long-standing association with the Dragon Ball franchise; in later years, he also voiced the character Cabba in Dragon Ball Super.
Beyond the worlds of Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh!, Blümel has lent his voice to a wide variety of anime leading and supporting roles. He voiced the taciturn Koji Minamoto, along with his digispirit forms Lobomon and KendoGarurumon, in Digimon Frontier. He also took on the lead role of Shu in the action anime Blue Dragon and played Zorome in the series Darling in the Franxx. His other anime credits include Benvolio Di Frescobaldi in Romeo x Juliet and Takamizawa in Maid-sama. In addition to his anime work, his voice can be heard in live-action dubs, such as the role of adult Joel in the Brazilian Netflix series 15 Again and as Preston Scavo in the US drama Desperate Housewives.
