Iván Jara is a Spanish voice actor born on April 25, 1969, best known for his extensive work dubbing anime and animated series into Spanish. He is married to fellow voice actress Silvia Sarmentera.
Jara is most recognized for his long-standing role as James, one of the iconic members of Team Rocket, in the Pokémon anime franchise. His portrayal of the character spans numerous films and television series across many years. His credits as James include the films Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, Pokémon 4Ever, Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, The Power of Us, Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, and Secrets of the Jungle.
