Iván Jara is a Spanish voice actor born on April 25, 1969, best known for his extensive work dubbing anime and animated series into Spanish. He is married to fellow voice actress Silvia Sarmentera.

Jara is most recognized for his long-standing role as James, one of the iconic members of Team Rocket, in the Pokémon anime franchise. His portrayal of the character spans numerous films and television series across many years. His credits as James include the films Pokémon Heroes - Latias & Latios, Pokémon 4Ever, Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai, Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, Zoroark: Master of Illusions, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Hoopa and the Clash of Ages, Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel, The Power of Us, Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, and Secrets of the Jungle. On the television side, he has voiced the character in series such as Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl, Pokémon: Black and White, Pokémon: Black and White: Rival Destinies, and Pokémon Journeys: The Series.

Beyond Pokémon, Jara's career encompasses a wide variety of other anime roles. He provided the voice of Jordan Wilde in the 2006 series Oban Star-Racers. In the 1980s, he voiced Guille in the Hiatari Ryoko series and its special, and Coque in Hikari no Densetsu. His other notable credits include roles in UFO Robo Grendizer as Carlos (Koji Kabuto), Majokko Tickle as Saburo, Soar High! Isami as Toshi, and Karakuri Ninja Girl as Tsukikage. He also appeared in live-action dubbing projects, such as the 1998 film School of Darkness, where he voiced both Naoto Tamura and Tetsuji Tsuchiya.
