Carmen Katt is a German actress and voice actress, born in 1975. Her career began on the stage, with performances at theaters in Hanover and Potsdam, and she has been active as an improvisational theater performer and workshop instructor since 1998. In addition to her work on stage, she has built an extensive career as a voice actress, providing the German voice for a wide array of characters in animated series, anime, and live-action productions. Katt has lent her voice to numerous anime series, spanning various genres and decades. She is known for her role as Rias Gremory in the series High School D×D and its subsequent seasons, a part she voiced from 2012 onward. She also took on the role of Bulma in the German dubs of Dragon Ball Z Kai and Dragon Ball Super between 2015 and 2018. Another notable long-running role is that of Ekitoku Chouhi in the Ikki Tousen franchise, including the series Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor. Her voice work also includes the character Kunoichi in the series Bikini Warriors. Beyond these, her anime filmography includes roles in series such as Angelic Layer, Magister Negi Magi, and Mobile Suit Gundam 00. While she is frequently cast in anime, her work is not limited to Japanese productions. She is the German voice of Cleo de Nile in the Monster High franchise and Sunset Shimmer in the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls films. She has also dubbed numerous characters in live-action films and television series. Examples of her extensive live-action dubbing work include voicing characters in shows like Parenthood, Navy CIS, Parks and Recreation, and The Good Place, as well as films such as My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.
