Katja Liebing is a German actress and voice actor, born in Duisburg in 1968 and based in Cologne. Her professional training began with a focus on performance, as she completed an education to become a professional stage dancer with a minor in acting at the Zentrum für Ballett, Tanz und Kreativität Groenendyk in Neuss from 1988 to 1990.

In addition to her extensive work in German television and theatre, Liebing has built a substantial career as a voice actor, lending her voice to numerous characters in anime and animated series for the German market. She is recognized for her role as Milly Thompson in the Trigun franchise, providing the German voice for the character in both the original 1998 television series and the 2010 film Trigun: Badlands Rumble. Her work in the science fiction genre also includes the role of Kaoru Niimi in the film Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune.

Liebing's voice acting portfolio spans a wide range of other prominent anime series. She is known for voicing Yuzu Kurosaki in Bleach, Eve in Black Cat, and Alvis Hamilton in Last Exile. Her credits also include roles in Fullmetal Alchemist, Hunter x Hunter, Dragon Ball, and the film Mullewapp – Das große Kinoabenteuer der Freunde. Beyond anime, she has voiced characters in western animations such as Vicky in the long-running series Cosmo & Wanda – Wenn Elfen helfen.

Beyond her voice work, Liebing has achieved recognition for her on-screen performances. She was a main cast member of the acclaimed comedy sketch show Ladykracher, alongside Anke Engelke, an ensemble that won multiple awards including the Deutscher Fernsehpreis and the Deutscher Comedypreis, and was also nominated for an Emmy Award. Her role in the series Der Lehrer earned her another Deutscher Fernsehpreis as part of the main cast in 2009. She has also received nominations for her work, including a Telestar award for best newcomer in 1995 and nominations for the Deutscher Comedypreis for the series Die Lottokönige in 2013.
