Description
Pierre Tremblay is a Canadian actor and voice actor born in 1955 in Quebec, Canada. He is based in Hong Kong, having moved there in his twenties, where he initially worked as a teacher of French and Spanish. His knowledge of Cantonese and Tai-Chi helped him find work as an extra in television commercials and small roles in Cantonese TV series, eventually leading to a career in dubbing films beginning in 1982. He has since retired from film work in favor of a career in radio.

Tremblay has extensive credits in English-language dubbing for both live-action and animated productions originating in Hong Kong and Japan. Other live-action dubbing credits include roles in Above the Law, I Love Maria, and Fist of Legend, for which he voiced Chen Zhen in the international dub.

Within anime, Tremblay is known for his substantial work on the Transformers franchise during the late 1980s. In the anime series Transformers: Headmasters, he voiced over a dozen characters, including Mindwipe, Apeface, Optimus Prime, Cyclonus, Soundwave, Jazz, and Ravage. In the subsequent series Transformers: Victory, his roles included Starsaber, Victory Leo, Ginrai, and multiple other characters across the series run.
