Paulo Espirito Santo is a professional voice actor based in Lisbon, Portugal, who has been active in the industry since 1995. He is recognized as one of the most established Portuguese voice-over artists, having narrated well over a thousand documentaries in addition to his extensive work in animation dubbing and video games. His vocal range has allowed him to voice a wide array of characters, from heroic protagonists to menacing antagonists, primarily for the European Portuguese market.

Espirito Santo is particularly well-known within the Portuguese anime community for his numerous roles across the Dragon Ball franchise. He voiced Paragus, the father of the legendary Super Saiyan, in the film Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. In subsequent films, he took on multiple roles, including Broly, Son Goku, and Trunks in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - Second Coming. He continued to voice Broly in the third film of the original trilogy, Dragon Ball Z: Bio-Broly, while also providing the voice for Hercules in the same film. His work in the Dragon Ball universe extended to other releases, where he voiced characters such as Bojack in Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, Tooro in the special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku, and Son Goku in the Dragon Ball GT television special, A Hero's Legacy. In the Dragon Ball movie The Path to Power, he was heard as both Goku and the character Black.

Beyond Dragon Ball, his voice acting credits include a diverse range of roles in animated series and films. He has voiced characters in international productions such as Blaze & The Monster Machines, Voltron, Dinotrux, Power Rangers, Recess, The Angry Beavers, The Wild Thornberrys, and Hulk. In addition to acting, Espirito Santo is a singer, composer, and musical theater author, having created original lyrics and Portuguese versions for various jingles, movies, and cartoons. He also offers translation and audio editing services alongside his voice-over work.
