Massimo Milazzo is an Italian actor, voice actor, dialogue writer, and dubbing director, born in Rome on March 4, 1947. His career is deeply rooted in the performing arts, having trained under Alessandro Fersen and served as an assistant to Orazio Costa Giovangigli. Before becoming widely known for his voice work, Milazzo established himself in theater, both as an actor in principal roles and as a director of dozens of productions. He also appeared in films directed by notable Italian filmmakers such as Roberto Rossellini, Florestano Vancini, and Nanni Moretti. In 2008, he founded Lumax production, a company that adapts films and television series for Italian broadcasters and produces theatrical works.

Milazzo is particularly well-regarded for his extensive contributions to anime dubbing, providing the Italian voices for a wide array of characters. He is prominently featured in the Fist of the North Star franchise. In the original Fist of the North Star movie, he voiced both Ryuken and Shin. His work continued in the series Fist of the North Star 2, where he voiced multiple characters, including Bart Adulto, Hyo, Ork, Boro, Nagato, Rei, Tiger, and Toki. Beyond this franchise, his notable anime roles include Ades in Arion, Tamehiko Kawano in Desert Punk, Kaz in Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Shun Mitaka and Yotsuya in Maison Ikkoku, Genya Tachibana in Millennium Actress, and various characters in Mobile Suit Gundam. He also provided voices for a range of Western animated series, such as the title character in Tom & Jerry Kids and Tom & Jerry Tales, the Doctor Animus in Ben 10, and characters in The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.

In addition to animation, Milazzo has had a prolific career dubbing live-action actors. He has lent his voice to a host of acclaimed performers, including Christopher Walken, Donald Pleasence, Richard Dreyfuss, Christopher Lloyd, Dennis Hopper, and John C. McGinley. A significant recurring collaboration was his work as the Italian voice of Kelsey Grammer as Frasier Crane in the later seasons of the television series Frasier. Milazzo's role often extends beyond voice acting; he has also served as a dubbing director and adapter for numerous productions, including the Italian versions of Fairy Tail and Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi.
