Tart, a talking ferret from the Kingdom of Sweets, arrives in the human world alongside Chiffon. Elder Tiramisu dispatched them to find the legendary Pretty Cure warriors, responding to an impending threat. Tart initially resents his duties: locating the warriors and protecting Chiffon. He often approaches these tasks lazily, seeking chances to shirk work and shift responsibilities to others. He speaks in a distinctive Kansai dialect, surprising the humans he meets. To hide his ability to talk, he poses as a tame pet ferret, a ruse requiring transport in a pet carrier he particularly dislikes. Despite his frequent uncooperative attitude, Tart shows unwavering commitment during battles against the villainous Labyrinth. He actively motivates and supports the Pretty Cure warriors, shedding his usual lethargy to ensure they are ready to fight. He believes in seeking comfort during low moments, stating: "When you’re feeling down, doughnuts are the best. They’re delicious!"
