Alessio Cigliano is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Rome on December 23, 1969. He began his career in 1980, becoming known for his voice work in many popular anime series of that era. One of his most prominent early roles was providing the Italian voice for the protagonist Kenshiro in the anime Fist of the North Star, in addition to voicing several other characters in the series. He also voiced the character Yusaku Godai in the anime Maison Ikkoku.

Cigliano has a long-standing association with the Digimon franchise. In 1989, he signed an exclusive contract with the dubbing company La BiBi.it, for which he voiced the character Agumon in the first two Digimon anime series. He has since reprised the role of Agumon in numerous后续 productions, including the film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. His involvement with Digimon extends beyond voice acting, as he also directed the Italian dubbing for the second, third, and fourth seasons of the series, an achievement that earned him the award for Best Voice Direction of a Cartoon for Digimon Frontier at the Romics DD Dubbing Gala in 2003. In addition to Agumon, his other roles in the Digimon universe include Yamaki in Digimon Tamers and Bokomon in Digimon Frontier.

Beyond Digimon, Cigliano has voiced characters in several other notable anime and animated films. He is the voice of Tart, the prince of the Sweets Kingdom, in the series Fresh Pretty Cure and its associated film Fresh Pretty Cure! The Kingdom of Toys is Full of Secrets!?. His work in the Pretty Cure franchise also includes the role of Baron Salamander in the film Heartcatch Pretty Cure! Hana no Miyako de Fashion Show...Desu ka!? and the character Frozen in Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart 2: Yukizora no Tomodachi. Other anime roles cited for him include Sôsuke Ajino in the series Forest of Piano, Professor Elsing in Don Dracula, Kazuya Ryusaku in Fighting General Daimos, Jiro in Attack No. 1, Daisaku Enjoji in Kōsoku Denjin Albegas, Gaspare Balsamo in the special Lupin III Italian Game, and Zorori in Kaiketsu Zorori, a series for which he also directed the dubbing.

In addition to his work in animation, Cigliano has an extensive career dubbing live-action films and television series. He is the Italian voice for actors such as Heath Ledger, Zachary Quinto, Billy Crudup, Noah Wyle, and Michael Imperioli. In 2014, he founded Radio Cigliano, a personal web radio station. In 2023, he received a Career Achievement Award at the Costa Rossa Festival delle Arti. He is the older brother of fellow voice actor Patrizio Cigliano and the grandson of singer Fausto Cigliano.
