Tailmon, a Holy Beast Digimon at the Adult level with the Vaccine attribute, derives her power from the Holy Ring on her tail—a symbol of her Holy-species status. Losing this ring drastically reduces her strength to Child-level capacity. Her yellow gloves with black claws replicate data from SaberLeomon. Her combat techniques encompass Neko Punch (claw strikes), Neko Kick (high-speed aerial kick), and Cat's Eye (hypnotic manipulation). Originating as one of eight Digimon eggs destined to partner with Chosen Children and balance good and evil, her egg was lost during a Dark Masters assault. After hatching as Nyaromon and evolving into Plotmon, she searched for her human partner but was captured by Vamdemon. Enduring prolonged abuse under his control, she developed a hardened personality and forgot her purpose. During this period, she aided the weakened Wizarmon, forging a deep bond. Both accompanied Vamdemon to the human world to locate the eighth Chosen Child. While hunting the target, Tailmon encountered Yagami Hikari and felt an inexplicable connection, defying Vamdemon's order to kill her. Guided by Wizarmon, she regained her memories and recognized Hikari as her true partner. Vamdemon interrupted their reunion, prompting Wizarmon to sacrifice himself to protect Hikari and Tailmon. This act enabled Tailmon's evolution into Angewomon to defeat Vamdemon. She then joined Hikari and the other Chosen Children to protect both worlds. Physical scars beneath her gloves remain from her time under Vamdemon. Initially cool, reserved, and mature—a defense mechanism from isolation and trauma—Tailmon maintained emotional distance but showed compassion when aiding Wizarmon. Bonding with Hikari softened her demeanor: she became affectionate, expressive, and vulnerable, engaging in activities like dancing or crying. Despite her past, she exhibited resilience and perseverance, overcoming despair without losing her core identity. Her arc highlights healing from isolation through trust and camaraderie. In *Digimon Adventure 02*, Tailmon temporarily lost her Holy Ring, enabling an Armor Evolution via the Digimental of Light to become Nefertimon. In *Last Evolution Kizuna*, set years later, Tailmon remains Hikari's partner. As Chosen Children approach adulthood and solidify life paths, a countdown on their Digivices indicates impending separation from their Digimon. Digivolution accelerates this timer. During Eosmon's global assault—a creation by Menoa Bellucci to trap DigiDestined in perpetual childhood—Tailmon battled Eosmon clones alongside other partner Digimon. After the climactic fight and Menoa's defeat, all countdowns concluded. Tailmon vanished alongside fellow Digimon as their human partners reached adulthood, their Digivices turning to stone, symbolizing the partnership's end.
