TV-Series
Description
President D leads the anime-exclusive organization Devil Fang. His childhood featured material wealth but profound neglect, devoid of parental affection. A defining loss occurred when his caretaker Spade departed. This abandonment, coupled later by his parents' death from unspecified causes, fueled deep resentment toward Spade, Joker, and Queen, whom he blamed for his suffering. He perceived Spade's exit as a betrayal, especially after they faced thieves together during the Sabertooth Tiger theft.

As a youth, he was chubby with freckles, a gap in his teeth, and short dark red hair. Adulthood transformed him into a slender figure with long dark red hair, pale blue eyes, and distinctive attire: a purple outfit adorned with a 'D' pin and pale pink earrings. Bitterness festered within him, driving a need for control; he reacted violently to frustration, often hurling objects like plates. Trust eluded him, as he assumed loyalty stemmed solely from financial incentive.

His vengeance took shape through Devil Fang. He placed bounties on Joker and Spade, orchestrating repeated assassination attempts. A pivotal moment arrived when he captured Joker and faced criticism about his revenge's futility, igniting further rage. His fixation on destroying his childhood acquaintances led him to acquire the Crystal Skull Key in Season 3, intending to lure and eliminate Joker. This plan inadvertently awakened the entity Phoenix.

Season 4 marked his transformation. Confronting Spade, he learned Spade regretted leaving him and sought renewed friendship. This reconciliation drew tears of relief and joy from President D, resolving his long-held animosity. Consequently, his hostility toward Joker waned, replaced by a begrudging camaraderie. He permitted Spade to address him informally as "D" and accepted Spade's phantom thief identity.

His dynamic with the loyal subordinate Spider Ace also shifted. Initially skeptical of Spider Ace's motives beyond money, President D questioned why he risked his life. Spider Ace's unwavering dedication, including saving him from a sniper attack, gradually earned genuine trust. Post-reconciliation, President D appeared more content, notably observing Joker's exploits alongside Spider Ace from a private plane.

Key traits endured through his development, including a fondness for steak and apples. Despite his redemption, he maintained a pragmatic approach to leading Devil Fang. His story arc concluded with diminished anger and greater fulfillment in his relationships, particularly with Spade and Spider Ace.
